Dairy Leaders Needed

UDIM’s two-year Board Mentorship program was created to identify and develop future dairy industry leaders. And that future begins now.

Participants will increase their knowledge and understanding of UDIM programs, grow their network within the industry and help them spread the word about dairy promotion programs with peers and fellow dairy producers who have questions about checkoff. Communication workshops by the UDIM team will help mentees fine-tune their skills.

REQUIREMENTS

Read the Board Mentor Program before submitting an application.

CRITERIA

Must be a Michigan dairy farmer or employed full-time on a Michigan dairy farm.
Attend two of four UDIM board meetings between March and October of 2026 and two of the four UDIM board meetings in 2027. Meeting dates will be provided when participants enroll in the mentor program.
Participate in a dairy promotion event to see how the programs connect to consumers.
