Chocolate Soda
Recipe by Marcia Stanley, MS, RDN, Culinary Dietitian
- Prep time 5 minutes
- Servings 1
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
- 3/4 cup carbonated water or cream soda
- 1/3 cup chocolate ice cream (about 1 small scoop)
Milk added to a traditional chocolate soda makes it a little richer. Use carbonated water, like seltzer water, if you want a pure chocolate flavor. For a slightly sweeter flavor, give cream soda a try. Both versions are scrumptious.
Instructions
- Place chocolate syrup in 16-ounce glass. Add milk. Pour in carbonated water or cream soda. Stir until foamy. Add ice cream. Serve immediately.
