Maple Cinnamon Butter

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Forget cinnamon toast. Just keep this maple-cinnamon butter on hand. It quickly spreads over warm breads, giving them an explosion of flavor.
Instructions
- In small bowl combine butter, powdered sugar, maple syrup and cinnamon. Stir until well mixed. Spoon into small bowl or crock. (Or shape into 4-inch-long log.) Cover and refrigerate.
- Before serving bring butter mixture to room temperature. Serve on toast, biscuits, muffins, scones, waffles, pancakes, popovers or English muffins.
Yield: 1/2 cup; 8 servings
