Ingredients
- 1 cup small curd cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (2% or 5% fat)
- 1 tablespoon orange juice or apple juice
- 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup raspberries, blueberries, chopped nectarines, chopped tangerines or sliced strawberries
- 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped, dry roasted peanuts
- Cinnamon pita chips or multigrain pita chips
The combination of cottage cheese, Greek yogurt and peanuts pack protein into this satisfying and appealing dip. For simplicity, we suggest just stirring the ingredients together, but you can use a blender for a smoother texture.
Instructions
- In small bowl, stir together cottage cheese, yogurt, orange juice, honey, nutmeg and vanilla. Spread in 7- to 8-inch circle on serving plate. Sprinkle with fruit and peanuts. Serve with pita chips.
Yield 1 1/2 cups dip plus 1 cup fruit; 6 servings
